Faith

What Keeps Me Going?

I can think of several million dollar responses. Cookie-cutter, picture- perfect answers; cliches for days! The truth is though, my faith is what keeps me grounded. My faith that God, Yahweh by name, has given me the ability to do what is right for my little ones. Either we believe we are “fearfully and wonderfully made” or we don’t, but if we do, that means understanding that God could not have faltered in the manufacturing process. I strive daily to follow the principles outlined in the bible to guide my life and parenting journey. While some days can feel overwhelming, I've come to appreciate the power of a grateful mindset. I make it a priority to share personal stories of thankfulness and offer resources to help others develop this mindset too. My approach is a simple one. If something feels too big, I give it to God, because He is much bigger than I am.

When I'm feeling the stresses and anxieties that come along with parenting young children, Psalm 127:3 gives me solace. It reminds me that my children are a gift from God, and I can trust in His plan for our lives. By reminding other moms of this encouragement and inspiration, I hope to offer resources that promote spiritual growth and make motherhood a more manageable experience for everyone.
